SmartPipe Aluminum Systems
Kaeser SmartPipe+ Aluminum Pipe Systems
Kaeser Smartpipe + is a modular aluminum pipe used for compressed air installations. Smartpipe+ offers lower installation costs (ease of installation) and lowers the long term -operating costs (less leaks and less friction). Smartpipe+ can be used from small shops to large industrial shops and everything in between. CFM Air Equipment is a stocking distributor for Kaeser Smartpipe+ in the following sizes: 20mm (3/4”), 25mm (1”), 40mm (1-1/2”), 50mm (2”), and 63mm (2-1/2”)
Compressed Air Piping
Compressed Air Piping Piping selection directly affects the three key elements of every compressed air system: flow, pressure, and air quality. Poor choices in pipe materials, diameter, and layout cause flow restrictions, often resulting in significant pressure drop. Pressure drop is a main cause of increased energy consumption and under-performing tools and equipment. Choices in piping also directly impact installation costs. Heavier materials increase fatigue and slow work, especially in overhead installations. Also consider the types of fittings to be used. Some connection types cause pressure drop, need special tools, and take more time to install.
SmartPipe+ System Benefits
Optimum flow and air quality
Smartpipe+’s smooth aluminum construction has a low friction coefficient which allows for the best flow possible. All Smartpipe+ fittings have a full bore (no restrictions) which further allows for minimal pressure drop, optimum flow, and less energy used. The connections are leak-free which minimizes air loss and waster energy.
Smartpipe+ is made of aluminum and it will not rust or corrode. This is ideal for installations requiring the highest quality air. Due to the fact the pipe has a polished interior, it will not allow for a build up of contaminants. This full bore design will allow for full flow to your filters and dryers for efficient removal.
Smartpipe+ incorporates light weight materials and easy to install connectors which dramatically reduces labour and installation time. Other features include:
- Faster installation then other common forms of piping
- No threading, welding, or brazing pipe
- No specialized trades required
- Simple mounting and connection
- Can easily connect to other types of piping
- Easy to disassemble and move or change
